There is something very appealing and attractive about a custom designed well-tailored suit–clean and crisp with sharp lines that seem to force the person in it to stand up straighter and demand attention.
When I started thinking about designing the custom cabinetry for the home theater, my inspiration came from, of all things, the image of that suit.
Theater Room Rendering – CAD Layout Hudson Cherry was an obvious choice for the material color. The warmth that this shade of grey conveys seemed the perfect balance against the coolness of the silver grey walls.
I didn’t feel that the room’s primary function of “home theater” should necessarily define the space. Today’s families want to make use of every space in their home. Furthermore, they want and need every room to serve many functions. If you choose appropriate wall colors, you can make the rooms look just the way you want. Interior painting company in York, Pa is ready to help you make your house look perfect.
So yes, the room features your usual suspects: a beverage cooler, a microwave for the all-important popping of corn and a sink for quick clean-ups. But what you might not expect is the abundance of storage created on just one wall! The space features upper and lower cabinets with plenty of drawers and shelving. The bench seat, placed perfectly under a wonderful collection of windows (go to EZ Window Solutions to see what I mean), was designed with large storage drawers. This will be the perfect home for: media, family games, and the favorite blankets to cuddle up with.
As a focal point it was my desire to the bench seat become a favorite spot to lounge during a movie, hang out with family and friends, curl-up with a good book or simply a spot to gaze out the window that happens to over-look the gorgeous pool!
Having met the functional needs for the space, all that was left to do was add a little style. I was lucky to find some great pieces of furniture online, so for French design check here. After all, a suit can look great all on its own, but adorn it with the perfect accessories—pocket square, a right watch, a spectacular pair of cuff links, and tie—and the suit is then a complete look.
Clear glass inserts were added to all of the upper cabinets to not only lighten the feel of all the Hudson, but also to add a bit of casual elegance, but it was nothing more elegant than what the residential painters near Gettyburg, PA did on the building. Under counter stemware and wine racks were added with some eye-catching granite to top it all off. And to make it all shine, we’ve installed just the right amount of task and ambient lighting. Add it all up to create a custom organization storage solution that is both beautiful and handsome just like a well-tailored suit!
