Treasure Chest awarded Critics’ Choice Best in Show gold award at Fall 2011 Homearama

Craftsmanship and organization proved to be the winning combination for Tidewater Builders Association’s Fall Homearama Critics’ Choice Awards judges. The Treasure Chest: The Organizational House sponsored by The Closet Factory and built by Joey Corp. took home the most awards, including the Best Home in Show gold award, which was presented at an awards ceremony on Friday, Oct. 14, in The Riverfront at Harbour View in Suffolk. The awards recognize the custom home builders, interior designers and landscaping companies for their contributions.
Homearama, open through Sunday, Oct. 30, features nine fully furnished and landscaped custom showcase homes with innovative home designs offering a variety of architectural styles and an Idea Marketplace. The homes range from 3,200 square feet to more than 4,000-plus square feet. Prices begin in the mid-$500’s and go up to $750,000. The annual event, produced by TBA, is designed to stimulate interest in new housing and products for the home.

The Riverfront at Harbour View is located in northern Suffolk along the Nansemond and James rivers and features tree-lined streets with abundant curb appeal and year-round amenities for its residents.
In addition to the Best Home in Show gold award, The Treasure Chest also took home gold awards for the Best Master Suite, Best Use of Technology, Best Interior Design, Best Craftsmanship, Most Creative and Best Landscaping.
