Custom Organizers Mud Room
The “Treasure Chest’s Mud Room” is a multi faceted treasure with four distinct usable areas just waiting for the entire family to discover. The Mud Room, located just off the kitchen, is the first room entered when coming in from the garage. Its Antique White finish and Bead Board Cabinets welcome you home and blend nicely with the finishes used in the adjoining kitchen.
The four areas of the Mud Room where designed to provide the family a custom storage solution that is both practical and efficient. The cabinets above the washer and dryer have been pulled forward and mounted flush with the front of the washer and dryer. This allows the cabinets to be easily accessed while at the same time providing the visual appearance of the washer and dryer being located inside a custom cabinet.
Adjacent to the Washer and Dryer you will find a granite counter top where clothing can be folded as it comes out of the dryer. Below the counter is a hidden treasure. What appears to be a drawer is actually an ironing board where garments can be touched up before hanging. Above the folding table you will find storage spaces and a row of mail slots for mail and messages to be stored and shared.
Along another you will find a granite-topped bench. A space designed especially with family in mind; a single stop where you can sit down to take off your shoes and store belongings as you enter the 2011 Treasure Chest – The Organizational Home. Stacked on top of the bench are 3 open-faced lockers containing custom coat hooks and shelving. This gem will help organize the clutter that is often dropped at the door.
There never seems to be enough storage in a kitchen, especially for larger items that are used less frequently. The final space in the Mud Room was designed to provide additional storage for the kitchen. These storage cabinets will provide easy access and storage for items such as the crock-pot, blender, mixer and other electronics as well as cookie sheets and extra pots and pans. These cabinets also provide an ideal space to store the bulk items purchased for a busy family.
